The María Cristina Masaveu Peterson Foundation is a private non-profit Spanish foundation, created in 2006 by Doña Mª Cristina Masaveu Peterson with the aim of promoting, within the tradition of patronage and sponsorship of Casa Masaveu, culture, training and research in Spain and especially in Asturias.

Throughout its 10 years of history, the María Cristina Masaveu Peterson Foundation has developed an intense cultural activity in different fields, as well as extensive patronage work, and through an extensive program of scholarships and grants, the María Cristina Masaveu Foundation Peterson contributes each year both to the promotion of the professional training of young workers and to scientific research, with a special focus on the technological development of the cement manufacturing industry and its subsequent applications.
